Tyronza R. Richmond Residence Hall (1999) was named in his honor for his nine years of service as NCCU's dean of the School of Business, and as chancellor from 1986 to 1992. Formerly titled New Residence Hall I, New Residence Hall II was built at the same time and is as yet unnamed.
