- OIRA Newsletter: Spring 2025The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis (OIRA) is pleased to share the Spring 2025 OIRA newsletter. Our goal is to increase the data literacy of the NCCU community. We use the newsletter to highlight recent data trends, terms and definitions, OIRA projects and much more.
- Criminal Justice Receives AwardThe North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Department of Criminal Justice (CJ) has received a substantial research grant of $100,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to investigate the complex challenges local emergency management agencies encounter in rural communities during medical surge scenarios resulting from catastrophic disasters.
- Black Women's Oral History ArchiveThe Collected Lady Eagle Oral History Project-Training Research Acumen (CLEOPATRA) of Black women NCCU graduates with justice-based careers launched on March 1, 2025. This is NCCU's first oral history archive. Forty-three students have interviewed twenty-two women since October of 2023.
